short period off the pill?

i just got my period a month after coming off the pill. i had my withdrawal bleed a month ago and this one was my real period. it was super heavy the first two days, even completely filling the night time heavy duty pads. then on the third day it was a little lighter and on the fourth day which is today, nothing. is that normal?
