When to pump and dump?

I’m an exclusively pumping mama I pump every 3 hours. Well I’ve been dying for some wine the last few days, but I’m not sure how the pump and dump method works and honestly it will kill me to have to dump lol. I’ve seen so many different things saying it doesn’t need to be done.
So what I’m asking is when do I know I need to pump and dump? How much can I have before I have to pump?

Never ever pump and dump. 
Drink your wine. 
If you are sober enough to drive, the milk is safe for baby. If you happen to get too drunk to drive and absolutely have to pump (hit that 3hr mark), label the milk “drunk milk” and save for a milk bath. And if you get too drunk, once you feel sober enough to drive again, your milk is fine. 
Back when I EBF and EP, I started my drink at the beginning of a session (pumping or latching). I’d have my 1-2 glasses of wine and be fine by the next feed.

Never ever pump and dump. That is a total misconception and myth. 
You can drink alcohol and still pump. It’s fine.

My LC recommended I pump while drinking to increase the amount of time between sessions/ drinks. In theory the alcohol could also help relax and lead to more output, I can’t say I ever really noticed that though. I did however use oatmeal stout to boost my production and I’d have a pint every night while I pumped. But if you’re sober enough to drive/care for baby, you should be sober enough to use that milk. I pumped for 16 months and only had to “dump” (still kept the milk for a milk bath/topical use) once because I was obviously drunk. 
I also recommend the test strips, they seemed to be pretty accurate for me. I tested after a round of tequila shots and a white claw, felt a little buzzed but still very much sober and the test strip was negative. I tested after an afternoon of beers and was definitely feeling too drunk to drive. Test strip was a clear positive.

I pump and dump but don’t drink. Only when on medications baby can’t have. If you can drive you can drink. I agree with the test strips.

Pump and dump is no longer the standard. You can have a glass of wine. What I normally do is pump, have my glass and by the next time I go to feed 3 hours later, it should be fine. 
If you are super concerned, they do make alcohol test strips to test your milk
