Low progesterone 😭

Long story short. My HCg was 5,500. My progesterone was 9. I had an ultrasound today. There’s a gestational sack, and yolk but nothing else. I’m 4w6d based off last period. Gestational sac measure 5w5d. Doc told me to prepare for miscarriage and have me my options. We are going to do one more ultrasound next week to double check things. She didn’t think taking progesterone supplements would help. Has any thing like this happened to anyone else? Please give me some hope! I’m just so bummed out.
