So I’ve had a copper IUD the past year and my periods are definitely heavier/ more painful. I started using the Livia period pain reliever which is pretty effective.

But as far as sanitary products…

I stopped using tampons bc in the first days I just bleed through a tampon + pad every 45 minutes or so.

I switched to a cup and while it seems to work in conjunction with a pad, if I lie down on my side, there will be blood EVERYWHERE. Do I just have a strange biology bc the cup is definitely in and not sure if you’ve any recommendations of what else to try…

And if it’s normal to bleed this much (I fill about 6 B size cups fully in the first 2/3 days).
