Bleeding more than usual

So my periods arent THAT heavy but in the last few years theyve gotten more effecient. Its the same amount of blood overall but instead of 7 days bleeding its like 3 days bleeding at 4 spotting. (I know because I use a cup/disk)

My period was 3 days late and now im bleeding a lot. Like almost the amount of half a period in 5 hours. My cramps are always bad so I'm not sure if they're worse than usual.

But I just (in 5 hours) bled at least 35ml. Usually my disk is almost half full(~25ml) when I empty it every 12 hours, so I was shocked that it was almost full after only 5.

I dont have an obgyn locally and im not in more agony than usual. Theres no way im pregnant ive not had sex for like 9 months and I took a test a month after the last sex I had with my ex (we stopped the last month once his secrets were revealed and I was considering leaving.)

Im just confused why I would be losing twice the blood as usual.

Any advice? I googled and couldnt find any info.
