I have a lot of friends who had their first boyfriend at 7 and older. My little sister had her first boyfriend at 9! I think those ages are just too young but I want to see how old other people were.

first “boyfriend,” I was 5, but obviously at that age it isn’t really anything. Maybe you hold hands or sneak a couple kisses because you’re little kids thinking you’re doing something. He actually ended up being one of my best friends throughout my life that I “dated” a couple times off & on as a teenager. Now that I’m married, I can look back & see my Husband was my first real boyfriend. He’s the only relationship that lasted longer than a month, with real dates & meeting families.

I never had a boyfriend at all until I was 16. I didn't have my first kiss either until 16!

I answered this question going off my first serious relationship, which for me, is someone I actually interacted with outside of school independently and had physical/sexual contact with. I was in high school by that time. Otherwise, I was probably as young as like 8 when I had my first “boyfriend”.
