Does he have a chance at unsupervised 50/50 custody?

My soon to be ex husband refused supervised visits with the court(abuse, suicidal with our child in his arms when coparenting last time) and went mia saying he wanted nothing to do with our child & that I was never getting a divorce etc. denying him etc, now 6 months later he is back around and wants 50/50 custody to where he gets him all through the week and me on the weekend like Wow. He never even took care of him nor bothered with him , I was always a single parent. He said he’d rather not go through courts unless he has to, Didn’t want to do any classes to get better. I told him no and he needs to do the classes they suggested months ago, anger management and start with weekend visits supervised like suggested before. He also lives 2 1/2 hours away. He thinks since time has passed it won’t matter anymore. For those that know of these cases Does he have a chance at unsupervised 50/50 if I go the court route??
