Being forced to bc on bcp

I’m 17, in 3 weeks I will be 18 my mom decided to call my doctor (with out my permission) to have an appointment to put me on birth control. The appointment is in August, so she can’t force me to go when I’m an adult. I told my mom i don’t want to be on bcp, bc it’s my body. She can’t force me to do something I don’t want to do am I right??
