You should definitely watch birth videos! The more a women can educate herself about what is to come is for the better. I’m studying under a midwife and have been to many births. The lack of education in women when it comes to their bodies and the processes that go on create A LOT of issues. 
You need to start thinking about how you are going to deal with pain. 
Breathing
Create a ritual so every time you have a contraction you do that same exact thing
Don’t be afraid to use your body and move! 
A lot of women always say when they are stuck in a position “it hurts I can’t move” and we kindly remind them it is going to hurt either way so let’s try this out. 
Be open to people suggesting other positions
Educate yourself on hip squeezes and try that out with your partner that can help alleviate pain
Consider laboring in a birth tub
