I started my regular period April 24th for about 7 days but once it stopped I still continued to bleed

only when I wiped and never enough to fill a tampon. That lasted up until today 6/15, this morning I started bleeding heavy again. So all together I have been bleeding for 8 weeks straight with maybe 4 days total with no blood at all in the 8 weeks. Does anyone know why this may be?
