Why is my 5 month olds son skin patchy like this? Could it be vitiligo or an underlying condition???

My daughter is 7 months and hers looks just like this, even the red spot on the nape of her head. And she peels all over too. But they said she can’t be tested for vitiligo until she’s 2 or 3, but they still said it looks like it is.
