Anyone else experience this?

I gave birth a week ago. I can’t control my bladder at all when I pee, when I feel like I gotta go I get up to go but I can’t even make it to the bathroom or stop myself from going on my own. And when I do pee in the toilet, there’s so much pressure down there and it hurts so bad to pee. 
Does that feeling eventually go away?

I felt kinda crazy down there after giving birth to a large baby, it felt like I couldn’t control the stream and like it was spraying from a bunch of different directions. It stung a bit while my stitches were healing for sure. It got
Progressively better within a short timeframe, a couple weeks at most, but those first days were rough and I would spray numbing /  PP lidocaine spray down there before peeing

You should call your doctor about that. Some of this could be normal but definitely call your doctor to be sure. I had a catheter and didn't have this at all. But also see a pelvic floor physiotherapist

Did you have an Epidural? ￼ please see your doctor ASAP. This is a problem and it needs to be resolved immediately. This is not normal and it is highly unlikely that it will go away on its own. You could actually also present to Emergency for assistance in the situation ￼

Did you get an epidural? I experienced that with my second baby because of they put in a catheter when you get the epidural. It took a couple weeks but it went back to normal
