How much weight can cribs really hold?

Question

I have a convertible crib so I would say mine probably holds more than the average, having around a 50lbs weight limit according to the user manual. I assumed most were 30-50lbs depending on the brand and such. But I have seen videos of a whole ass parent getting into cribs WITH their children and then sneaking out after they are asleep. How much weight do y’all’s cribs really hold?? 
Disclaimer: I’m just seeking opinions and stories from parents for fun because my mind was blown that this was possible. My crib mattress frame is held up by 4 screws and I promise my PP lard butt will break it and I would never 😂 comments shaming myself or each other over different parenting styles will be deleted

My kid’s cribs always held me in them and I was surely almost 180 at one point. It’s faithfully held 130-180lbs I’d say.

I have a convertible crib. It has a 50 pound weight limit. Any crib that has had a whole adult lay in it is compromised, full stop. Once your child hits 50 pounds, it needs to be converted into a twin mattress frame (or whatever your’s converts into). Mine converts from a crib to a toddler bed to a twin mattress frame, so long as you have the proper adjustment bars, equipment and whatnot.

Just because it can hold an adult doesn't mean it's not damaging the crib/toddler bed itself, such as springs, baseboard, etc. They can wear down over time and compromise the safety of the bed. It's also pretty rare to find a crib or toddler bed that holds more than 50 pounds in terms of recommended weight. With that, my husband and I have laid in our daughters toddler bed with her. Aside from lack of space it did hold our weight. But it's not something we do often. Basically, you can climb into the bed if you want. It won't break but it doesn't mean you're not causing damage to the bed and risking the safety of the bed. There is a reason the manual states the weight and height limits
