Pumping after one week?

Baby only feeds off one boob for each feeding and I feel so sore and hurt on my other one until his next feeding and vice versa. Should I pump the milk on the other boob to even it out after my baby feeds to even it out or will it not even out?

NO. Do not pump. Just hand express to relieve pressure. Pumping will only make everything worse and create an over supply more than you already have. Just hand express to take off pressure.

U should pump the other side if anything. The time it takes baby to eat is how long u should pump for. Also if anything next time u could try switching sides halfway through the feedings; but if its more of the babys preference to feed from one specific breast then yes i suggest pumping after. ♡
