I live on the eastern shore of Virginia. Erika Bailey and her 6 year old daughter who are black ( which I believe matters) was hit by a white woman ( which also matters). Erika Bailey was killed and her daughter was hurt seriously, it has been 66 days and there still hasn’t been any charges against the driver . I never thought are small part of the world was so racist,we have Black People, Hispanic people, Asian people, Chinese people and Haitian people cops talking about the public doesn’t know how long it takes it investigate a case but I fucking bet if it had been a black woman who run down a white woman and her child it would be a whole different story. It makes me scared for my kids who are Hispanic, poc and this whole thing is so fucked up . Please google Erika Bailey eastern shore of Virginia and sigh the petition to have charges brought up against the driver or at least put pressure on the district attorney and cops to press charges on her.
