Has anyone ever had a child as young as 4 years old have panic attacks? How does it present?

I think my 4yo had one early this morning. We took him on his 1st vacation so this is his first hotel stay.. he doesn’t spend the night places except my moms so this is all very new. He woke up at about 4am trembling, crying, wouldn’t talk, squeezing his eyes. His nose became stuffy so he asked to blow it and after he finally opened his eyes but he was still very tense, shakey, and crying. We finally laid back down and snuggled so he calmed down but never did go to sleep.

I started having panic attacks in the middle of the night at a young age, but not this young. I felt so helpless and all I wanted was for him not to feel afraid.
