So I have heard that it might be infatuation.. Now I am not native to english and I don't fully understand what infatuation means.

So I know this guy.

Whenever I see him my attention is sucked towards him the entire time.

I have to force myself to ignore him, to stay away from him. I don't think I have the self control to not fly around his neck if I'd come any closer.

We have been intimate, but it's been ages (over a decade to be exact) we were stil kids, both just 18. When I think of him I feel a vibration coming from my core, not in a sexual way. (sure sometimes in a sexual way, I'd have to admit 😅) I just want to be near him all the time, it's like I'l being pulled towards him.

What I understood about infatuation is that it's usually very lust-driven and based on physical looks? He is not at all physically what I'd think is attractive. But to me he is gorgeous just because it's him.

I've been reading a lot of werewolf stories.. and it kinda sounds like a mate bond, now I understand that is fantasy but it intrigues me.

He doesn't speak about his feelings, I have told him partially about how I feel, his response to that was that i have to feel confident and positive.

He did tell me that when we were at thesame event a few weeks ago, he could sense me before he saw or heard me. He told me that he didn't turn around to face me or say hello because he wouldn't be able to stop himself from coming over and "grab me" - that's the best translation I could find - (I assumed he meant for a hug 😅 which is a feeling that I didn't disclose to him)

he didn't do that because he considered it would have been inappropriate, which it would have been due to circumstances.

It just kinda feels similar or something. It intrigues me because I assume someone who wrote this might have felt that same way about someone, to put it in words. Maybe people can give me some insight into what this is.. especially because I read that if it's infatuation that it doesn't often conclude into healthy happy relationships.. that kinda scares me.

I think it's weird that it still has that effect on me after all this time (like I said, it's been over a decade)
