Late ovulation, late period?

Hello all! 
My period has been coming every 28 days, I reached peak about day 21. It's now day 29, my period isn't here, I don't feel anything really, but my test this morning was negative. It of course has barely been a week since I ovulated. 
Am I testing to early?

Yes. Your LP didnt start until you ovulated. Its much too early to be testing.
