Does this name flow...at all?

We are expecting our final baby this September. I really want to honor my mom by using her name as our baby's middle name. However, her name is Kelly...which doesn't flow well with anything we like. We like Aria, but does Aria Kelly just sound awful? Does anything else come to mind when you hear that combination? Please give me your honest, but respectful thoughts.

I think it sounds sweet. If you’re worried about the amount of syllables between the two, you could shorten to “Kel”. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Try a name similar to Kelly, that way it will still have parts of your moms name in it. Keele, Kali. Or add a third middle name behind the Kelly. Aria Kelly-Rose or Aria Kelly-Jade.. play around with it.

Have you considered two middle names? Something like Aria (1 syllable name) Kelly (Last Name) ? That’s what I would do if I didn’t like Jean. I think Aria Jean is kinda cute though! Totally valid not to like it though!

I think that it’s always special to honour a loved one with their name as the middle name. Kelly is great and everyone will know why you picked it. Another option that is kind of cool might be Kay (K for Kelly) or perhaps her maiden name? But Kelly is perfect as is.
