Endocrinologist or Gyno/OB?
Hi everyone. Just after opinions/advice. I went to see a gyno who specialises in fertility and is also an OB. He has prescribed me Letrozol to try to regulate my cycles (suspected PCOS) as I don’t seem to be ovulating regularly and have irregular bleeding. My husband has seen a reproductive endocrinologist as he has low testosterone. My question is, should I be seeing the endocrinologist too, or is what the gynaecologist prescribed the same as what the endocrinologist would also try? He has said if that doesn’t work we will do ovulation induction with gonal f and then a trigger shot (how I fell pregnant with my first) so I was happy with that, but just wondering if the endocrinologist would have any other ideas to treat the issue long term?
