How can I involve my older children in bonding with the baby during pregnancy?

Hey moms with more than one child! I want to ensure that my older children bond with their sibling even before birth. Do you have any suggestions on how to involve them in this beautiful journey? Let's create a strong sibling bond from the very beginning!

Kid has to be old enough to understand what is even happening. My 10mo old obviously has no idea. 6yr old and 11yr old know what is coming. Pregnancy is hard for them to really understand. Show them ultrasound pics, try to break it down for them, but unless they are of school age, their bond won't really start until after birth. And even then it may not click or go well (sibling jealousy) until new baby can really interact more.

Try to ensure ur child understands that there is a baby in ur belly .. let him put his hand like for every time he hugs or kisses u tell him the baby would like the same .. I read a story for both of them at night I told my child he is the one will be only helping me if I need help with the baby , once u feel baby kicks try to put ur child’s hands let him feel the kicks tell him the baby is hi fiving him and he loves him and waiting to meet him , if hes a boy they will be a perfect team if a girl he will guard her 🙏🏻
