TTC for over a year….diagnosed with PCOS

Love reading everyone’s stories on here 🫶🏽 it’s been so refreshing, sad, joyful, all those things, just knowing that I’m not the only one going through what I’m going through and also feeding off the joy of other mommas with their positive pregnancy tests and pregnancy stories 😍

My husband and I have been TTC for over a year now. Before we were married my period came like clockwork! I started to gain abit weight and my periods still came every month just not on the same days as the previous month, etc so I wouldn’t say they were irregular. It was AFTER I was married and my periods were just MIA for months at a time. I didn’t understand why 😓 4 months into our marriage I had no period for 3 months straight and each test I took was a negative. We thought we got lucky but I guess not 😞 then after a few tests at my GP, I was told that I have a classic case of PCOS, which was a shock to me because before marriage, my period came every month 😓

So now we’re just over a year trying, I’m tracking my periods like crazy and it’s abit draining hoping for a miracle to happen. We do the deed at least 2-3 times a week and no luck just yet.

Has anyone had struggles with TTC whilst having PCOS? Anyone here with PCOS gotten pregnant? If so, what changes have you made to help your chances of conceiving? Would love to hear your story ❤️❤️❤️❤️
