Ovarian Cysts and Pelvic Pain

Has anyone experienced this?

On Monday night (my ovulation day) out of know where I started having a really sharp pain in my whole pelvis and lower abdomen that would travel down back just before the anus, I couldn’t stand up bc of the pain an ended up taking really hard painkillers make the pain go form 10 to 5, the next day I go to the gyno and as they check out apparently I have a cyst on my left ovary about 4 cm sizes and that could be what’s causing me pain, the thing is even if the sharp pain go away it still comes and goes in moments that I do “hard” movement (like slightly opening my legs with out thinking about it), stand up right, go peeing or when I move faster, and weirdly the pain is either on the left side of my lower abdomen or on the right side of my groin even if the cysts is on the other side, and lately I have been feeling really hard pressure in my lower abdomen, as if I was carrying a weight on my body and the only way not to feel it is lying on my left side, but it has become so annoying, I cannot move right bc of the pressure and the pain.

I’m also wondering if it could be something muscular due to the fact that just 2 hrs before the pain I was doing exercise and stretching myself which would be weird considering that I have been a dancer my whole life and I’m very flexible, but yet again if it was muscular why do i feel so much pressure.

Has anyone go through this? How long did it take to go away?

Btw I’m still young (21 years old) and don’t have endometriosis and my periods are the normal kind of painful.

I would be very happy if someone has gotten better after experiencing something similar it would help ease my anxiety.
