When do you plan to share your pregnancy news?

At what point during pregnancy do most people usually announce their news? Do many people wait until after the first trimester?

I waited until my first two children were born. Our last child we told everyone basically as soon as we found out, which was 3 1/2 weeks. I went on to lose the baby at 5 weeks. Now, we are pregnant again. We do not plan on telling anyone for at least 16 weeks just to be cautious. It’s all about personal preference.

When I know the gender I plan on telling my immediate family and my husbands immediate family. But just us and a couple church ppl know right now. With my first two I told all of my family like as soon as I found out lol and then announced to the world after first ultrasound. But I’m trying to hold off as long as possible this go around. Ever since my miscarriage at 12 weeks, I won’t be telling any friends until after the 12 week ultrasound. Might even wait longer! I’ve told the grandmas but that’s it!

I am currently pregnant with baby #4 and this will be my last. Unsure when we will announce to everyone. My partner, mom and sister are the only ones who know. With my 1st we announced as soon as we knew. My second we didnt tell anyone until baby was born my 3rd we announced at 12 weeks.
