I think we’re both ready, but things aren’t progres

I went in for my 38 week appt. and I was 3cm and 50%. She said the baby is still measuring 2 weeks bigger, (which is how old I think this baby actually is).

She did a membrane sweep and I contracted for hours and lost my mucus plug and had a bloody show. Then I started to notice baby wasn’t moving as much as normal, so I went to the hospital. They checked her heart rate for about an hour and things looked good, so they sent me home without checking me. The contractions I was having just weren’t regular enough to admit me I guess.

I know that I am at least 4 cm dilated now. And I am really anxious about this baby getting larger and larger. I’ve been having minor contractions for the past 4 days since this happened, but everything stops when I go to bed.

Another reason I am really anxious for her to come is that I have to go back to work on the 16th, and I want to have a little time to heal before then.
