Babies eyes concern????

Took this photo of my baby today with flash on the camera. Would you worry about this? I saw in the news years ago a warning about one red eye and one white in a camera flash being a sign of childhood cancer and now i’m panicking

Definitely see a pediatic opthamologist. But id take another picture. This is only actually reliable when the person is looking straight. Dim lit background. Flash on. And red eye reduction is off.

I was readin the other day that usually when people find problem within their children’s eyes it’s usually found when taking a picture and seeing something with the red eye reflex or what ever it’s called. Does it happen aloeVera single time or just this time? Either way it’s better to get it looked at

Optometrist here: definitely get that checked out. Call your normal eyedoc they may want to see quite soon, no need to go to the ER. One white/grey/yellow pupil could mean retinoblastoma, cataracts, or a really high refractive error - hopefully it's just because the angle is strange.

I remeber reading something about that too a couple of years ago. I completely agree with calling the pediatrician first thing in the mornng.

I remember seeing something about different eye colors with flash but don’t remember what it was. Maybe reach out to your doctor just to be safe.
