My son will be 8 months old in a few days and he has recently starting this thing we’re he gets jealous over his 2 1/2 year old sister when she wants me (she does the same thing at times as well), he cries when he has to crawl to me when he wants me, he is no longer easy to put to sleep, and if he wakes up and senses I am not near by ( we share a room) he will cry like he is scared. When I pick him to reassure him that I am here he falls back asleep in my arms fairly quickly. I am not sure if this separation anxiety, sleep regression or a mix of both. I am at a lost on how to help him through this.

P.S. When he cries I do not let him cry for long. I try to calm him down or help with whatever he is needing or wanting the first chance that I get.
