So, my DS is 5 and we have decided to try again for baby #2. This took a while to come to this conclusion as my whole experience with my first was awful. It took us a long time to get pregnant first time round approx 2 years (which is why I even found this community) and I finally fell pregnant at 29. I had a horrible pregnancy, hyperemisis, then excess fluid, then growth problems, then induction and then an emergency C section after his hand came through my cervix when I was only 2.5cm. Following that, I had horrendous PTSD and PND which lasted about 2 years. The anxiety it gave me is still around, to be honest. But I’ve finally come to terms with everything that happened and I’ve realised, at 35 now, that I want another baby.

So here we go… I’ll try and keep this updated as I hope my journey is similar to other peoples! And anyone who has done it before, can share some advice!

I never had periods with my coil, so anticipating the first period in 4 years will be a bastard lol
