Sweet candy smell, am I going mad?

After my husband has been in the bathroom there is a sweet candy smell. I thought I was going mad and that it was the air freshener. We visited my parents the other day and I took our son to the toilet after my husband had been in the bathroom, and the exact candy smell was there.

He says there isn’t a smell.

I have my hunch, just wanted to ask if anyone has a idea before I make assumptions.

Edit. Thank you guys, I thought vaping. I have asked him outright and he says he isn’t. His relationship with the truth on these things isn’t great, I found him vaping in January, and the continuous string of lies that followed boiled my blood. I just wanted to sound things out before let myself get cross at being lied to again.

Edit #2: He outright refuses that he is vaping. I brought up the smell and he aggressively told me there was no smell. Any ideas? I can’t find the damn thing either.
