How do I toughen up my son? He is almost 7 years old and literally cries about everything. He is afraid of everything. He wont sleep in his own room upstairs. He constantly sleeps in the livingroom floor. He cries and screams if hes left alone for even a minute.com Even if I am just in the shower. I am honestly so over it. He screams and cries until he makes himself sick. He hasnt had any trauma or anything in his life that would have caused this. He wasnt like this when he was younger. It just started about a year or so ago. I just want him to be tough like a boy should be. Not saying anything is wrong with soft boys but I dont want people to walk all over him. He is a great kid except he cannot control his fear then he freaks out. Anyone deal with this? How did you fix it? He is a normal kid otherwise. Normal and happy life. Great family. Gets everything he wants and needs. Like I said no trauma so I dont know where it came from.
