iPad for a 3 year old ?

How old was your kid when you buy them their first iPad ? My son is 3 and we’re thinking of getting him an iPad so he watch YouTube videos and Disney. Also, he likes to type letters and words that he can spell. But is he too young for one ? Which iPad do you suggest for his age ?

No devices here. My phone every blue moon only as necessary. That shit is addicting (especially YouTube) and in my experience are temper tantrums and arguments just waiting to happen. So my answer is: when my kids can afford to buy one themselves is when they will get one 😂

No devices for our kids. We don't feel that kids need devices or have any use for them. Everyone in our families know that if they are dumb enough to get our kids any device that they'll have one chance to take it back before it goes in the trash.

We hated the amazon kid ones not much space no youtube kids first one didnt even last working a year my sister had also gotten 4 different ones and had issues with them stop working so we just got her a cheap phone and case and downloaded YouTube kids & she has a lot of learning things on it and she only gets it certain times during the day

We just bought our 2 year old a fire tablet for $50 on prime day. Good cover and already preset to be kid safe. 
I wouldn’t do anything too expensive for a toddler.

I think 3 is fine. Just be mindful if how long the child watches in chunks for eye health.

Got my son his first tablet for his 2nd birthday, then he got a new one a couple months later for Christmas because it was sooooo glitchy. Now he has a Samsung tablet that my dad got him, he’s 3 now. He has tons of educational games on it, and some shows he likes.
