Partial placenta abruption?
Today we mark 21 weeks on our calendar.
Early into the pregnancy, I passed two large subchorionic Hematomas. I haven’t had much bleeding since the last passing.
Today was the anatomy scan. We found out that the placenta is partially separated from the uterine wall. Baby measures two days behind, and is 14oz. Doctor said he’s in the 39th percentile. Smallest baby we have so far.
Everything looked good but the placenta. With separation, there are concerns I have to watch out for such as bleeding, fetal distress, and decreased movement as well as heavy cramps. There was also a blood clot that’s behind the placenta as well.
I’m restricted to walking, and resting now. Nothing more. I’m fortunate to not have bleeding since the last SH passed.
Mommas, if you’ve experienced this, tell me anything you can to help ease my nervous brain. I feel him kicking of course, and move around, but I worry about him being either too small or lacking proper nutrition and development.
Sweet baby boy’s ultrasound face picture for attention. I was so so excited until my doctor came in with this news 😞
I haven’t quit crying since because this is MY fault.
