Making Friends

How are adult women making friends?

I moved to a new area and am recently divorced and really want some women that are fun to be friends with and I have no clue how to go about it as an adult.

I always have kinda made friends by vicinity whether it be college, work or my ex husbands coworkers wives etc. now I work in a male dominated field which fine, but I am also the youngest. I am a 25 year old women working with all mid thirties married men, so not a place for me to make friends. I have a son who is three so daycare not school no activities to meet the other parents or whatever really yet.
