Swollen hands and feet during pregnancy: How are you staying comfortable?

Hey ladies! My hands and feet are swollen like never before, and it's throwing me off. I'm struggling to stay comfortable and maintain my usual activities. If anyone has found ways to stay comfortable and reduce the swelling, please share your wisdom! Let's find some relief together!

Same, I noticed lots of it had to do with diet and hydration. So I upped my water and decreased the amount of sodium and that seems to be helping some. My hands barely swell now just my feet and even that isn’t bad thanks to good shoes and compression socks.

Make sure your doctor is aware of the swelling if they’re not already! They will want to keep an eye on you to make sure it doesn’t progress into something worse. But like the other person said, compression socks, stay hydrated, make sure to lower salt in your diet. When you lay down or relax keep your feet elevated, and if you can take an epsom salt bath or soak which can help draw out swelling. Try not to stay on your feet too long or sit too long without moving regularly as this can cause swelling too.

Compression socks and well fitting shoes have been a life saver with the feet and ankle swelling. I havent figured out the hand swelling yet but im sure compression sould help there too ive just taken my rings off and dealt with the discomfort since its not nearly as bad in my hands as it is in my feet lol. Im a sahm with 3 kids under 4 so im always on my feet being at the end of pregnancy in this summer heat is what the doc said is causing the swelling. He even suggested doing grocery pick up if possible until after babe comes lmao cause Ive been super dizzy too. Good hydration habbits help some too helps flush the fluid off your body some.
