2 year old wearing perfume -am I wrong?

My mother in law keeps buying my 2 year old perfume.. grown women perfume. I’ve told my daughters dad I don’t think that’s appropriate.. there’s no reason my 2 year old needs to be wearing perfume, especially one designed for women? Like lotion for kids is fine but perfume? And they keep putting it on her after I said I don’t like it. They won’t tell me but she smells like it so much to the point where it makes my whole house smell like it. It’s gross, not to mention it gives me a headache every time. Am I wrong here? Is it not a big deal?
