Any insight on this?

I had a D&C exactly 3 weeks ago after a mmc at 8 weeks. My hcg still hasn’t returned to 0 yet. These tests are from this morning & definitely not a new pregnancy. My question is…I have been getting negative ovulation tests until 3 days ago, when I had a positive LH test and my normal ovulation signs. My question: is it actually possible to still ovulate with this much hcg still in my system??
