Cyst on right ovary

Kaylee • Hi, i’m Kaylee. I am 19 and i am taking charge of my reproductive and feminine health

So, I was diagnosed with a cyst in my right ovary the 17th of August, so it has been only a few days since. It is on my right ovary and when I was at the hospital they said it was threatening my appendix as well (they didn’t tell me the size in cm, all they said was it is a significantly sized cyst). I have been taking it slow, taking the antibiotics they diagnosed, and thankfully have an appointment with a gynecologist today. Also, I should note, I have very irregular periods with my last one being May 1st-13th. Does anyone else have a similar experience and if so, how did it go/ how is it going for you?

I'm not a doctor, but I can provide some general information. Ovarian cysts are common and can vary in size and symptoms. It's good that you have an appointment with a gynecologist, as they will be able to provide you with personalized advice and treatment options. It's also important to discuss your irregular periods with them, as it may be related to the cyst or other factors. Remember to follow your doctor's advice and ask any questions you may have during your appointment.
