Ex husband gave my pregnancy announcement shirt our son wore away and it wasnt his.

My husband and I had our second child a few years ago and when we announced the pregnancy with a shirt my oldest child was wearing. My son wore it to ny ex husband's and I didn't know. I now found out he gave it away to his sister. I wouldn't have "allowed" my son to wear it to my exs because it has a sentimental value. My ex has often texted me and asked me to return shoes, boots, jackets, clothes etc. that he swnt our son in and I have. My ex has no other children and my son has no other siblings but from my family. Is it okay that I'm upset with him and thats its inappropriate for him to give it away?
