Help please

Hi, I have a question… in two part…

My significant other and I would like the chance again. We had a missed miscarriage in April and had the D&C in early May… May 5th to be exact.

I went to the doctor Tuesday, and got a vaginal ultrasound, and the doctor told me that she did see a follicle on my ovary and she was hopeful. According to Glow my period is 3 days late but my pregnancy test says negative. Was is too early too take the test? And

Should I wait too see if my period do or don’t come on in the next few days? Please help. My significant other and I have been trying.
