I thought antibiotics could cause yeast infections.. so why is it proscribed to treat BV? I feel that will just add another “infection”/problem for me down there.. 
I battle with, and have battled with BV for years- I, and my husband, deserve to catch a break from this embarrassing reoccurrence 😩

YOU need the antibiotics. Boric acid just masks the symptoms. Ask for yeast infection meds when they give you the antibiotics. You can also ask for the gel, it’s metronidazole gel, it works really well! I had reoccurring BV for about a year, I was on antibiotics for 6 months and it finically knocked it out, and I haven’t had it sense.

Try boric acid suppositories instead, antibiotics can really mess up your gut health if you have to use them all the time.
