Living arrangements once baby is here, do you think this will work?

Do you think it could work if my partner and I keep both our own places and just some nights stay at his place and some nights stay at mine once baby is here?

We need more information. 
Sounds like a pain in the ass. To pack up ALL the stuff a baby needs to bounce between homes sounds obnoxious. Or to buy things for both places seems ridiculous. 
It’s doable but doesn’t sound logical. 
I wouldn’t choose to do this.

A baby needs routine and stability. Why is moving in together not an option?

As long as you both pretty much have the same set up for the baby at both places then i dont see the problem. All you two have to worry about is transportation. It might be in a pain in the rear in the beginning but once you both find a rythm, hopefully everything falls into place.

No that is not going to work well. As someone else mentioned, babies need stability, and to be constantly upset like that will likely keep baby from sleeping well. It sounds silly imo. If you're going to be staying together, why not just move in together even if only temp for the first few months?

It for sure wouldn't be something I would ever sim for, but some couples live separately and does fine. 
But I would personally not want it.

I personally wouldn’t do that. It seems to much of a hassle to be back & forth especially with a newborn baby.
