Does your little one get the flu shot?

My son is almost 4 and my husband and I have differing opinions on the flu vaccine. I’m just curious to see how many people have their child get the vaccine in the fall. Thanks!

Absolutely I do. Even if they do get the flu, it'll help lessen the symptoms. Just like when someone takes OTC medications to help with the symptoms except I'm being proactive.

Always do. I had the flu once and I was so so sick. I wouldn’t subject my children to that if I can avoid it

I never got the flu shot when I was a kid- rarely was ever sick then and rarely ever sick now. I don’t even think I’ve had an actual flu- just colds? I wouldn’t get it. Getting sick builds your immune system.

Nope. None of us have ever had the flu shot. They only get sick like once a year & it's over super quickly. Lasts a day or 2 with only mild symptoms.

No. I haven't had a flu shot in 13-15 years, my husband hasn't had one in 18 years, and my children aren't getting them either. Every year I got a flu shot I got horribly sick with the flu. I haven't had the flu since I stopped getting them.

My 7 year old daughter use to get it when she was younger n went to daycare. I stay home with my boys so aren’t as many cooties to go around so I decided not to with them or with my daughter anymore.
