Labor?

I'm37+4 with baby #5. Yesterday I was 2cm dilated and 70% effaced. Baby is engaged head down. After sex last night I had a few wipes of bloody mucus and contractions through the night. This morning they've slowed down. Would we consider this early labor or was the blood yesterday just from irritation? With my other babies only one came spontaneously and it started with the pink mucus so I was hoping this was it.
