Please explain this to me

Why are many of the same people that are complaining about inflation wanting to lower interest rates? Who is telling people that lower interest rates will fix inflation and why are people believing it?!?

It is not a difficult concept, and it is easy to look up on the internet. While many many unavoidable worldwide issues affect inflation, adjusting interest rates are literally THE way to help control it.

higher rates = lower inflation

lower rates = higher inflation
