Baby bored of contrast cards?

I wanted to see how normal this behavior is with my 9 week old! We pretty consistently will do tummy and floor time but I noticed recently (within last 3 days or so) that he seems no longer interested in the contrast cards we use for him. He will only pick up on 2-3 cards (for example we’ll show him 10 different cards). I am making sure that he isn’t showing tired signs and is in an active state but he will just stare off in the distance.

I wanted to know if anyone else’s newborns have done this and if it’s normal behavior or if it’s a sign of some sort of regression?

Also some context is that baby is recovering from lip and tongue tie release (1 week 2 days post op) and definitely still have some tension that we’re working through and doing body work and sucking exercises for. (Not sure how relevant this info is, but wanted to share)
