How long does bleeding usually last from a miscarriage?

I should have been 12 weeks, but when I went to my first ultrasound a few days ago, I was only measuring 6 weeks. I have had brown spotting/discharge all week and started bleeding heavily last night.

I miscarried at 12 weeks but baby stopped growing at 6 weeks as well. Last thanksgiving. I bled on and off for about 2 weeks. The first few days were heavy and consistent. I got my next period right on time after that. I’m so sorry for your loss Mama 🤍
