So my daughter had birthday party on the first. My parents knew about it, said they were coming and never came to it. They didn’t come to her first or second birthday parties because my brother had some college games they wanted to go to instead. “It’s his first college season” my Dad told me for one of them.

Anyways, they said they would come and they didn’t. I was caught up in the party that I didn’t realize till it was literally over.

The day after the party my Dad texted me “Thanks. For saying something. I didn't even realize it was Oct. Her present is sitting here waiting. We sat around the house doing jack shit. Went nowhere. Not even realizing it was yesterday”. So they laid around the house watching tv and missed her party but it’s my fault because I didn’t remember to remind them it was that day or constantly check if they were coming. ☹️

Then my daughter (3) came down with a stomach virus we had to take her to the ER for on Thursday. I texted him about it while we were in the ER. He felt we didn’t need to take her for a high fever, and not eating or drinking. “High fevers were normal when you were a kid.”

Friday was her actual birthday and she spent it sick. My Dad texted me asking if we could bring her over for her birthday. We had made plans to go out to Red Robin for her birthday and I had told my parents they were welcome to come. Then she got sick. So when he asked if she could come over I told him she’s sick we’re just going to stay in. You can come see her though.

Saturday he texted again and asked “is she up for coming over to see Grandpa today?” I told him again she was sick but he was more than welcome to come over. I was putting her down to nap so to come over later after that. They never came over.

I don’t know what I’m don’t wrong but apparently I’m doing something. Since then he won’t talk to me at all. I can down with the same thing and honestly I don’t have patience for whatever it is. I’m too pregnant and too sick.
