My son is 4 years old, and he’s super attached to me. Definition of a mamas big, he always wants to hug me, always tells me he misses me and loves, and he’s always wanting kisses. He consistently asks me to give him a kiss on the cheek/forehead. He just loves to be smothered in kisses and also wants me to hold him near me. Is that normal? Or is this like some sort of separation anxiety? I mean like I give my son a lot of attention and I take him out with me a lot and have him go on play dates with his friends. His father and I aren’t together but my son prefers me more as a parent. Any inputs about this?
