Bassinet for c section?

Question

Does anyone that had a c section have any bassinet recommendations? I would like adjustable height and easy to push down side or zip down side to make grabbing baby easier. My last baby was a surprise c section so I didn’t know to prepare for that. This baby will definitely be a c section. I had A LOT of pain. I’m in Germany and a lot of doctors recommend nothing beyond 400mg of Motrin at a time. Help me make my life easier lol

We used the Amke bassinet on Amazon. It’s adjustable and has zipper side panel

I used a Halo for my first csection and I used a Babybjorn cradle bassinet for my second. They both worked fine

Yes! I used the Halo bassinet with my second c section baby. You can adjust the height to your bed which is soo nice because you can basically sleep right beside your baby. It swivels to move in all directions, and it has easy sides that you can push down to get baby and it locks in place for more safety too. I highly suggest using this bassinet! My only dislike is that my baby grew out of it so quick.

Bassinets don’t usually have adjustable heights or moving sides. They’re typically the height of an average bed. And, in my opinion, they aren’t really difficult to navigate after a c section. After about 7-10 days you should be up and moving around like normal anyway, I wouldn’t buy anything to accommodate for such a short time period.
