Developing vitiligo in genital area?

hi, i am 26 years old. About a month ago i noticed two big white patches lacking pigment below my vaginal opening like my butt crack folds on both sides just below the vagina & some light patches on my labia. It’s not an STD or BV or yeast. I got it checked out and my gyno said it wasn’t anything of that nature and i thought it was something called lichen scerolis or something like that. But she said i would be itching and in pain, which i am not. The only other explanation is that I developed vitiligo. But I am not sure how to feel and what to do with this. I need to see a dermatologist but because it’s down there, how will they determine what it is? I want to know if anybody had experience with that?
